Visualia Festival in Pula, Croatia 2024
The 10th edition of the Visualia Festival, Croatia's first-ever festival of light, is set to dazzle audiences from September 19 to 21. This spectacular event, known for attracting both local and international visitors, has become a key fixture in Pula's cultural calendar, showcasing cutting-edge audiovisual art and modern technology.
Since its debut in 2013, featuring 3D mapping, Visualia has grown each year. By 2014, the festival introduced the "Lighting Giants" – the illuminated cranes of the Uljanik Shipyard, now a city landmark. In 2015, it made history by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest human light sign, the "Light Postcard," formed in Pula's iconic Arena. In 2018, Visualia earned a place on the global calendar of international light festivals.
With around 15,000 attendees expected over three days, visitors can look forward to a captivating, unforgettable experience that has also played a vital role in boosting Pula's identity and tourism.
